At Metric we have a loyal and happy team of people. Many of the staff have been with us for decades, and we believe that this is because of the happy and positive environment we create. All of our staff are passionate about giving the best customer service they can, and we’re happy to help you.

Jason Hart

Jason joined Metric in 1982 as a warehouse/delivery assistant rising to become the Managing Director in 2000. Jason’s dedication and enthusiasm for every project is infectious and his knowledge and experience of the industry is extensive.

Daryl Want

Daryl is responsible for overseeing the correct and safe installation of all furniture products and completion of all interiors contracts. Daryl has a keen eye-for-detail meaning that every Metric project has to meet his exacting standards and is always completed to the very highest quality.

Jane Hart

Jane is the daughter of the the late Barry Want (founder of Metric). She has worked with the company for 36 years as the Finance Director. She somehow manages to get the balance right ensuring the healthy financial position of the company whilst at the same time maintaining long-standing, friendly relationships with our customers.

David English

Dave joined Metric in 2024 as part of a new SMT. Previously a MD from within the industry, he brings a wealth of experience and success in sales and business operations. Dave is passionate about creating a happy and positive working environment and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Rob Jellyman

Rob looks after Metric’s many and varied interior projects. He makes sure that every aspect of the project is covered and that it is completed on time and to budget. Rob is usually running multiple projects at once, and is the go-to person if you need any interior work done. His expertise and extensive knowledge means you're in safe hands.

GRaham Johnson

Graham joined Metric in 2024 as part of the merger with Dragonfly Office. He has a background in IT and project management, particularly PRINCE2. He looks after all of the marketing, online presence and is currently engaged with updating the internal operations and processes.

Jim Francis

Jim joined Metric in 2024 as part of the merger with Dragonfly Office. Jim has worked in the industry over 40 years and held directorships at several manufacturers. He is well known in the industry and has a huge product knowledge. He has an uncanny ability to put people at ease, and enjoys helping others.

Adrian is responsible for the goods in and out. Making sure that the vans are loaded so that the right goods go to the right place at the right time! It’s his job to make sure that the installation team know what they’re doing and have everything they need to complete the job on time. Adrian joined Metric in 1985!

We carry out dilapidations works on behalf of landlords and tenants alike, ensuring that the property is ready-for-market or reoccupation in good time.

By choosing to carry out the dilapidations detailed in the Landlords schedule we can help you avoid high dilapidation charges levied by the Landlord and save you money! Leases carry a clause that requires your premises to be left in their original condition. If you need to carry out dilapidations detailed in the Landlord’s schedule we can agree a timetable of works.
