We have long worked with property experts Badger Holdings, parent company to Townends Estate Agents, dot financial services, Tyser Greenwood Surveyors, Regents Estate Agents and INEX Property Solutions. So, we were delighted to be able to work with them again as they relocated their headquarters from Chertsey to Byfleet.
Following a period of sustained growth and in line with the company’s future expansion plans the new premises will be home to 90+ support staff and management staff.
The layout incorporates existing and new office furniture into a spacious, work-efficient environment allowing for collective and collaborative working.
The space has been planned with precision with both existing and future staffing needs in mind. It is both dynamic and well-organised.
Open plan bench desking optimises work space and soft, collaborative meeting furniture provides the perfect spot for an informal team meeting. An ‘away from the desk’ hub has been created with a central island bench and high bench/stools backdropped by a media wall where staff can problem-solve over a cuppa.
More formal meeting areas have been accommodated too. Internal partitioning and glazing has created cellular/executive offices and meeting rooms. Flexible, reconfigurable meeting space also allows for in-house training. We even fitted blinds throughout the building to control shading and glare.
In conjunction with Badger Holdings Maintenance business, the new offices have been meticulously planned with no detail left to chance. A tight schedule meant that much pre-planning was required in order that staff assumed their new desks for business as usual with only a few hours down time.
“The detail was not just in the planning but also in the execution. The Metric and INEX teams worked tirelessly from concept to completion to deliver to an exceptionally tight schedule. We are all delighted with the end result.”, commented Séamus Kavanagh, Chief Executive.
We wish Badger Holdings luck and continued success in their new home. We look forward to the next project!
