We are at Heathrow Terminal One this week. Gate 24 has become our temporary workshop where we are replacing the tired lounge seating in Terminal One with a smart new look.
But we are not delivering brand new lounge seating, instead we are taking apart, fixing, cleaning, re-covering and re-assembling 2,600 chairs for Carillion on behalf of BAA. We will complete the renovation to the lounge area in just two weeks which means the process is a little bit more lengthy than simply replacing the seating but the savings are extraordinary!! The total cost saving is estimated at more than 75% which equates to a huge amount of money!
