We would like to congratulate KYOCERA Document Solutions UK Ltd who celebrated its 25th anniversary in the UK by opening up a KYOCERA Technology Suite in Manchester.

On 4th July, Mr Komaguchi and Mr Kuki from KYOCERA Document Solutions Inc were joined by senior executives including Mr Okumura, Managing Director, KYOCERA Document Solutions UK, business partners and guests including our very own Ed Harding and Ryan Wagner for the opening of the new facility.

The Lord Mayor of the City of Manchester gave a short speech about the value of businesses such as KYOCERA investing in Manchester, Mr Okumura warmly welcomed the guests and Mr Komaguchi unveiled a plaque commemorating the opening. The guests were then motivated by inspirational entrepreneur Simon Woodroffe OBE, the founder of Yo! Sushi and one of the original dragons in the popular BBC’s Dragon’s Den programme, who held a Q&A session answering questions about this career and sharing anecdotes about his experiences.

Having created their Technology Suite in London we were thrilled to be asked to do the same in Manchester – the results are really impressive and despite long nights and many a journey up the M1 it was a pleasure to be involved in such a high quality fit-out and installation.

The Manchester KTS facility occupies 4,000 square feet on the ground floor of Chancery Place, a 14 storey prestigious office building in the heart of Manchester. Designed by award-winning architects to enhance the diverse architecture of the Upper King Street Conservation Area, Chancery Place is home to a range of blue-chip organisations and is part of the first phase of Manchester’s ‘Project Digital Tomorrow’.

The project involved a total strip out and reconfiguration of the space.
KYOCERA’s ground floor location comprises a showroom, product demonstration suites, meeting rooms and the company’s first Northern sales office which is focused on creating business for KYOCERA’s Northern partners.

We wish them every success in their new premises and look forward to working with them again.
