We completed our most far flung installation yet this month!
We love a challenge and this one certainly was! The job consisted of 68 bench workstations with pedestals and wire management all made by West Sussex Office Furniture Ltd.
On 27th February we loaded the container and sent it off on its 3,443 mile journey from Egham to Times Square, New York City. Due to bad weather, both here and there, the arrival of the shipment was slightly delayed but we sent our fitter, Adrian Norfor, to oversee the job and deal with all eventualities! He was charged with managing a local team of assemblers to ensure that Metric’s high service and delivery standards were achieved.
We had worked with our client, Sunrise Brokers, before when we delivered and installed 105 workstations overnight at their central London based offices. They were thrilled with the job we did for them so we had a lot to live up to!
This time the location was a high rise building on Times Square and the office space was on the 25th floor. The goods were finally delivered late evening and the team worked through the night to ensure the job was completed on time!
