Metric has completed a project for Hitachi Europe which provides 18 new workstations for staff at their European headquarters in Maidenhead.
Metric’s design and installation team won the contract to supply Hitachi with a space saving solution. The 18 wave desks with screening and task seating were delivered and installed on a Friday evening when everybody had gone home for the weekend. Our team worked through the evening and only left when the office space had been transformed.
The design was open plan as we were keen to increase work efficiency through better use of the space available. The office furniture which was selected had to complement the existing and additional screening allowed for great individual privacy in the open plan area.
It was a pleasure to work in creating this functional workspace with Hitachi and we look forward to working with them again.
